Group treatment for Hoarding

The FSU Psychology Clinic offers group telehealth treatment for adults who engage in hoarding and have difficulty discarding items. Evidence-based skills to decrease acquiring and increase discarding will be developed.

Parent Strategies Group

If you have a child struggling with misbehavior, defiance or opposition, or if you as a parent or caregiver struggle to implement effective discipline, the FSU Psychology Clinic therapists can help. This 12-week group teaches parents effective strategies for managing behavior at home, school and in public places.

SPEAR is a free online course that reviews types of weather emergencies and other disasters and how to prepare yourself and your family. Are you new to Tallahassee, designated as an essential personnel or unfamiliar with FSU’s essential personnel policy? This training is for you!

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is now available at the FSU Psychology Clinic for adults ages 18 and older who struggle with chronic insomnia — difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep or waking too early.

UROP Transfer Deadline

The Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) offers high-achieving students a supportive, funded research community with flexible opportunities across disciplines, including transfer cohorts. The transfer student deadline is Friday, July 3.

Graduate Student Mentor Workshops

Graduate students can join a virtual UROP Mentor Workshop to build mentoring skills for undergraduate research. The 8.5-hour program runs over three days, from Monday, June 15, through Wednesday, June 17, or Monday, July 20, through Wednesday, July 22. Register by Thursday, June 11, or Tuesday, July 16.
