Campus Rec is offering a CPR for the Professional Rescuer course in the Leach Wet Classroom on Tuesday, June 30, and Thursday, July 16, teaching essential lifesaving skills for healthcare, fitness, recreation and emergency response settings. Registration is now open on Rec Connect and will close 24 hours before each scheduled class.

Terapia Dialéctica Conductual 

La Terapia Dialéctica Conductual (Dialectical Behavior Therapy – DBT) grupal está disponible en la Clínica de Psicología de Florida State University (FSU) para personas mayores de 18 años con emociones intensas/angustia, problemas interpersonales, conductas impulsivas y/o impulsos o conductas suicidas o de autolesión.

Summer Research Day

Present at Virtual Summer Research Day on Wednesday, July 15. Open to all majors, this interdisciplinary event highlights undergraduate research across STEM, social sciences, humanities and the arts. Applications are encouraged for summer and fall 2026 graduates and Honors in the Major students. All presentations will be slide-based oral presentations hosted via Zoom. The deadline to apply is Sunday, June 14.

FSU Psychology Clinic Blood Drive

The FSU Psychology Clinic’s Service and Outreach Workgroup is partnering with OneBlood to host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, May 29, in front of the FSU Psychology Department Building.

IM Sports Summer

Group therapy for Survivors of Sexual Assault/Abuse

The Cognitive Processing Therapy group at the FSU Psychology Clinic is an evidence-based treatment to address trauma symptoms related to actual or threatened sexual assault or sexual abuse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Group dialectical behavior therapy is available at the FSU Psychology Clinic for individuals ages 18 and older who struggle with intense emotions or distress, interpersonal problems, impulsive behaviors or suicidal and/or self-injurious urges or behaviors.

Teen Emotion Skills Training

The Teen Emotion Skills Training groups help preteens and teens develop emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal skills. If your teen struggles with impulsive or reckless behavior, self-injury or suicide related thoughts or behaviors, or difficulties getting along with others, the therapists at the FSU Psychology Clinic can help. Please note: This group is not for teens whose difficulties are related primarily to autism spectrum disorder.
