The Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) group at Florida State University Psychology Clinic is an evidenced based treatment to address trauma symptoms related to actual or threatened sexual assault or sexual abuse.

Group Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is available at the Florida State University Psychology Clinic for individuals age 18+ who struggle with intense emotions/distress, interpersonal problems, impulsive behaviors, and/or suicidal or self-injurious urges or behaviors. (This treatment is also available for Spanish-speaking clients.)
The FSU Psychology Clinic is currently offering group treatment to teach skills for managing excessive clutter and improving the ability to remove items from your home.
The Teen Emotion Skills Training group helps adolescents ages 13-17 develop emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills. If your teen struggles with impulsive or reckless behavior, self-injury or suicide related thoughts or behaviors, or difficulties getting along with others, the therapists at the FSU Psychology Clinic can help. Please note, this group is not for teens whose difficulties are related primarily to autism spectrum disorder.
If you have a child struggling with misbehavior, defiance, or opposition, or if you as a parent or caregiver struggle to implement effective discipline, the FSU Psychology Clinic therapists can help! This 12-week group teaches parents effective strategies for managing behavior at home, school, and in public places.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is now available at the Florida State University Psychology Clinic for adults age 18 and older who struggle with chronic insomnia—difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking too early.
