Private Funding for Arts and Humanities Workshop

Discover new opportunities in the Arts and Humanities! Program officers from three leading organizations--the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation, the Getty Foundation, and The Huntington--will shed light on their dynamic grants and fellowships programs. Lights, Camera, Research workshop from FSU RD

Building LLM-Based Health Applications with LangChain and LangGraph. April 2nd, 2026 | 10:00-11:30 AM. Speakers Balu Bhasuran, PhD, MCA and Zhe He, PhD, FIAHSI, FAMIA

This hands-on informatics workshop will introduce researchers to the design and development of large language model (LLM)–based health applications using LangChain and LangGraph. Participants will learn how to build modular, agentic workflows for tasks such as clinical text processing, question answering, and decision support, with attention to data privacy, evaluation, and responsible AI practices in healthcare.

Register for a hands-on informatics workshop from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 5, that will introduce researchers to key principles and best practices for developing prediction models using EHR data. Topics will include cohort definition, feature engineering from structured and unstructured EHR data, model selection and evaluation and common pitfalls such as data leakage and bias.
