The Florida Healthy Liver Program Grand Rounds will outline the scope of a growing liver cancer problem driven by the increasing incidence of metabolic-associated liver dysfunction, also known as fatty liver. Mayo Clinic and FSU PrimaryHealth™ faculty will review strategies for early screening and prevention of hepatocellular carcinoma, starting in primary care settings. The event will take place from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24 at the College of Medicine Durell Peaden Auditorium and will be presented by Mayo Clinic and FSU PrimaryHealth™ faculty.
The Part-Time Job & Internship Fair, held each fall and spring semester, offers students opportunities for part-time jobs, on-campus positions and internships while attending classes. Note: This event does not include full-time internships, positions outside Tallahassee (unless fully remote) or full-time positions. The Spring 2025 fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 9 in the Tully Gymnasium.

Courses will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 13 to March 28. Prices vary for participants, with a cost of $350 for FSU students and $400 for non-students. FSU Campus Recreation offers health and safety courses at the Leach Center Pool. Register for adult swim lessons, lifeguarding courses or CPR/AED/first aid courses led by our certified trainers. All courses are available beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13.
Learn about current and upcoming NSF and NIH requirements for common forms, biosketches and current and pending (other) support forms. The Research Development team will teach you how to create these documents using the required SciENcv platform. Two sessions are available in spring 2025.
