The Hispanic Heritage Month Distinguished Service Award honors a faculty or staff member at FSU who enhances cultural awareness of Hispanic contributions to various fields and the FSU community. Nominations, open to all full-time employees in good standing, must be submitted by Friday, Oct. 25, 2024. Nomination letters should highlight the nominee's scholarly excellence and contributions to Hispanic communities.

Registration is open for the virtual REDCap Lunch, Learn and Share session from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29. This session will feature Julie Haltiwanger, interim director of the FSU IRB, discussing REDCap and the IRB, along with updates and best practices for FSU REDCap users.
The InternFSU program is now accepting applications from full-time Faculty & Staff to host students for the Spring 2025 semester, offering paid, high-impact experiential learning opportunities. These internships help students gain professional on-campus experience in line with their academic or career goals. The deadline for faculty and staff to submit applications for consideration is due at 11:59 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14.
Registration is now open for this month’s 2024 virtual REDCap Fundamentals training session from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16. Presented by the FSU Network for Clinical Research, Training & Community Engagement, this session is aimed at new users.
