The Florida Institute for Child Welfare (FICW), housed in the Florida State University College of Social Work, invites FSU students, faculty, staff, and members of the Tallahassee community to participate in its inaugural Golf Invitational on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Seminole Legacy Golf Club.

Today, Thursday, April 9 is the final day to register. Teams of four are available for $500.

Golfers will enjoy 18 holes alongside PGA professional Tom Shea, with special appearances by local celebrities Jeff Cameron and Tom Lang of The Jeff Cameron Show on 93.3 Real Talk Radio, plus food, drinks, a putting challenge, and a silent auction featuring a variety of exciting items.

Proceeds from the event will support education and training initiatives that strengthen Florida’s child welfare workforce, benefiting both students preparing for child welfare careers and frontline professionals across the state.

As part of its continued commitment to making a meaningful impact for children and families, FICW will donate 10% of all net proceeds to its annual service partner, the Oasis Center for Women & Girls.
