Join us for the Faculty Innovators Series at the FSU Innovation Hub at noon on Friday, Feb. 14, where we will celebrate the expertise and groundbreaking achievements of Florida State University’s faculty. This event will feature Michelle Kazmer, dean of the College of Communication & Information and professor in the School of Information.

Relay For Life Logo

Join Relay For Life of FSU on Saturday, Feb. 8, as we lace up our running shoes and gather at the Integration Statue on the beautiful FSU campus for our annual spring 5K in honor of Cancer Awareness Month. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., and the race will start at 9 a.m. All the proceeds raised from the race will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online.

D'Alemberte and Palmer Lecture Series logo

FSU College of Law is pleased to welcome former Ireland President Mary Robinson as this year's speaker for the D'Alemberte & Palmer Lecture in International Human Rights at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at FSU Law in Auditorium 101. The event is open to the public and will be live-streamed.

Dr. Jim Fourqurean Lecture on Februray 20th 2025

Join the FSU Coastal and Marine Laboratory from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, for the first FSUCML lecture of 2025. Jim Fourqurean will discuss his work with seagrasses, their ecological importance and their potential for climate change mitigation. Admission is free, and refreshments will be provided.

“Magnetic Dances,” part of the Festival of the Creative Arts, has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at the Nancy Smith Fichter Dance Theatre on the FSU campus. The festival is a campuswide celebration presented by the FSU Office of Research that celebrates the diverse talents and creativity of faculty and students. The first events now begin this Sunday.

Showcase your research at the Undergraduate Research Symposium on Tuesday, April 1, in the Student Union Ballrooms. This annual event invites undergraduate students from all majors to share their research via poster sessions with the wider community. All students at any stage of the research process are eligible to apply.

Unconquered by Debt offers free financial wellness workshops where students learn essential financial skills like budgeting, saving and debt reduction. These interactive sessions, held at the Stavros Center with dinner provided, aim to enhance financial stability and reduce stress.
