Summer A Update: Leach Center Closed May 2 - June 19

As the Leach Center renovation project enters a more extensive phase, Campus Recreation is planning to close the Leach Center for the Summer A session (from Spring Graduation until the start of Summer B session - May 2 to June 19). During these seven weeks, the Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning (HVAC) project will focus on the locker room and restrooms on the main level with additional work simultaneously in workout spaces. The closure is expected to accelerate the project and reduce disruptions during our busier months of the year.

Campus Recreation will operate its smaller Fitness & Movement Clinic (FMC) in the Coburn Health & Wellness Center with extended hours throughout Summer A. Please note that guest pass hours have been extended to all operational hours during the summer semester. On-campus outdoor sports spaces will continue to be available throughout the term. The Lakefront Park will operate with its normal summer schedule of hours.

What does impactful research actually look like? It's all about context.
Join us for a dialogic seminar bringing together higher education administrators, Indigenous Maya faculty, students, and K-12 educators, to explore how research impact is defined across different institutions and communities. This event welcomes special guests from the Tumul K'in Center for Learning, University of Belize, and Galen University and reflects the partnership between these educational institutions and Anne's College and the Native American & Indigenous Studies Center at FSU.
Moderated by Dr. Josh Newman, Associate Dean for Research, Anne's College, Florida State University.
