Seeking Volunteers for IBS Pain Study

Our research team at the Chen Lab College of Nursing is currently seeking participants for an IBS pain study.

We are recruiting young adults, 18 to 29 years old, with IBS diagnosis for the IBS taVNS Study. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of gentle-ear stimulation (taVNS) on reducing IBS-related pain and symptoms. Study procedures will consist of 2 phases lasting 14 weeks long. During the study period, there will be a total of two in-person lab visits, one focus group interview, four online survey sessions, and ten online educational videos. Approximately 6 hours total. Total compensation up to $90 in e-gift cards.
