Free Mental Health First Aid Training for FSU Students

Florida State University Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) is offering Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training for FSU students at no cost on Monday, June 29, 2026. This nationally recognized certification course teaches participants how to recognize signs of mental health and substance use challenges, respond to someone experiencing a crisis, and connect individuals with appropriate support resources.

Through this interactive training, students will learn practical skills to support friends, classmates, and members of the campus community while increasing their confidence in responding to mental health concerns.

Training Highlights:

  • Learn to recognize and respond to mental health challenges
  • Gain skills to support peers in crisis situations
  • Earn a Mental Health First Aid certification upon successful completion
  • Connect with campus and community resources

Audience: Currently enrolled FSU students only
