From 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, June 12, the Office of Faculty Development and Advancement will host a virtual information session about the Fulbright Scholar Award.
Letters of intent for the IGNITE FSU Translational Seed Grant are due Friday, May 16. This opportunity is open to all FSU employees, with awards up to $100,000 for a one-year award period. Projects should translate fundamental academic research into tangible solutions that benefit the public.
The FSU Psychology Clinic offers Group Dialectical Behavior Therapy for individuals aged 18+ dealing with intense emotions, interpersonal issues, impulsive behaviors and suicidal or self-injurious urges. The therapy covers four rotating modules and meets weekly, either in person or over Zoom, with each session costing $12.
The FSU Psychology Clinic is currently offering group treatment to teach skills for managing excessive clutter and improving the ability to remove items from your home.
The Teen Emotion Skills Training groups help pre-teens and teens develop emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal skills. If your teen struggles with impulsive or reckless behavior, self-injury or suicide-related thoughts or behaviors, or difficulties getting along with others, the therapists at the FSU Psychology Clinic can help.
