The Blackstone LaunchPad Ideathon will take place at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 17, in the Innovation Hub. Students will have the opportunity to exercise their creative problem-solving skills and win $100.
Ripan S. Malhi, professor of anthropology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will give a research presentation at FSU on his research areas, which include using genomics as a tool to learn about evolutionary histories in the Americas as well as the impacts of European colonization on Indigenous peoples of North America. The presentation will take place at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, in Longmire 201.
The Innovation Hub will welcome Dave Montez and Wendy Plant at noon on Friday, Oct. 13, to shed light on other ways to get involved on campus while building connections, sharpening skills, gaining invaluable experiences and competing in "big win" business and innovation competitions.
