Gilbert King Book Talk and Signing

The Florida State University College of Law, in partnership with Midtown Reader, is proud to present Pulitzer Prize–winning author Gilbert King for a special event featuring his latest work, Bone Valley. Assistant Professor of Law at FSU, Erika Nyborg-Burch, who teaches and writes in the areas of criminal law will be interviewing King at the event.

Unconquered by Debt is a financial wellness program sponsored by the Stavros Center for Economic Education. The program features a workshop series held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, where participants can learn about personal finance while enjoying a meal with friends. It also offers private coaching hours Monday through Thursday for individuals to ask questions confidentially, with a webpage providing on-demand resources. Learn more and view the schedule online.

Sailing Test Out Banner

Wanting to rent a sailboat at the FSU Lakefront Park? You will first need to test out! Any time the Lake is open, stop by the Rental Office to take your written exam. After that, you'll need to pass a practical portion led by our Lifeguards. From there, you'll be on your way! Test Out goes from Thursdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the FSU Lakefront Park beginning Thursday, Sept. 18.
