The Teen Emotion Skills Training groups help pre-teens and teens develop emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal skills. The FSU Psychology Clinic is available to help teens who struggle with impulsive or reckless behavior.
The FSU Psychology Clinic offers group telehealth treatment for adults who engage in hoarding and have difficulty discarding items. Evidence-based skills to decrease acquiring and increase discarding will be developed.
The Cognitive Processing Therapy group at Florida State University Psychology Clinic offers a 12-week evidence-based treatment via weekly Zoom sessions to help survivors of sexual assault or abuse. The therapy focuses on changing trauma-related beliefs and developing adaptive thinking patterns, aiming to reduce PTSD symptoms, emotional numbing and feelings of distress while improving overall functioning. The sessions are conducted by supervised clinical psychology doctoral students and will start in late spring 2025.
