Unconquered by Debt financial coaching by a Certified Financial Peer Mentor provides a unique and invaluable support system for students striving to achieve their financial goals. Unlike traditional financial advisors, Peer Mentors offer a relatable and empathetic perspective, having likely faced similar financial challenges themselves.

Join the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and FSU Libraries for the second annual Provost’s Showcase of Scholarly Teaching, taking place from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 4, on the ground floor of Strozier Library.

Teen Emotion Skills Group

The Teen Emotion Skills Training groups help pre-teens and teens develop emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal skills. The FSU Psychology Clinic is available to help teens who struggle with impulsive or reckless behavior.

Hoarding Group Treatment

The FSU Psychology Clinic offers group telehealth treatment for adults who engage in hoarding and have difficulty discarding items. Evidence-based skills to decrease acquiring and increase discarding will be developed.

Telehealth Treatment Group for Survivors of Sexual Assault or Abuse

The Cognitive Processing Therapy group at Florida State University Psychology Clinic offers a 12-week evidence-based treatment via weekly Zoom sessions to help survivors of sexual assault or abuse. The therapy focuses on changing trauma-related beliefs and developing adaptive thinking patterns, aiming to reduce PTSD symptoms, emotional numbing and feelings of distress while improving overall functioning. The sessions are conducted by supervised clinical psychology doctoral students and will start in late spring 2025.

URS 2025
