High-energy, fun Americana group Old Salt Union performs TONIGHT. The band combines banjo, mandolin, violin, bass and guitar in a way that offers a fresh take on a traditional string band. Their unique take on the traditional style of music has been termed "newgrass" to describe a more modern bluegrass sound. Young jazz piano prodigy Matthew Whitaker will perform this Saturday, May 8 at The Moon. Whitaker is one of the hottest names on the jazz scene, having played at festivals such as Monterey Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival, Playboy Jazz Festival and Telluride Jazz Festival. Students can receive $10 tickets to this performance using the code "2021STUDENT".

Libraries Updates

As FSU kicks off summer sessions, FSU Libraries continues to share updated services and resources available to the campus community.

There will be new COVID-19 policies and procedures in place for students and Campus Recreation members starting Sunday, May 9 when Campus Recreation facilities reopen with new summer hours. Updated policies include no more reservation or daily wellness check requirements, fully functional locker rooms and restrooms, and updated pool access. Patrons are recommended to wear a mask while indoors, required to bring a water bottle, and scan in and out of facilities using the FSU Rec App.

2021 Summer Research Day Application Due on June 15, 2021!

The 2021 Summer Research Day Application is now open! The event will take place at 12 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021, and the deadline to submit your application is June 15, 2021!
