Fall Faculty Writing Accountability
This message has been approved by Janet Kistner, vice president for faculty development and advancement, for distribution to faculty and staff.
Ample research shows that commitment to a regular writing schedule increases scholarly productivity. FSU faculty support each other in this commitment by writing together in solidarity in a virtual space. We gather; state our writing goals for the sessions; write; report our progress in the chat. Scholars arrive and leave as they need. If the arrive after the initial start, goals are posted in the chat.
Make a commitment to your future and pledge the hours you will write in community with your FSU colleagues. We will be writing together Monday - Friday between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. this fall semester from Aug. 28 - Dec. 15. You may commit to any part of the writing time that serves you.
