Jessie Colegrove
Do you know of a student employee who stands out in a positive way? Someone who goes above and beyond in the areas of community service, diversity & inclusion, leadership, technology & innovation, and/or critical thinking? Let us know by nominating them for Student Employee of the Year.
Faculty and Staff at FSU are encouraged to nominate undergraduate and graduate student employees (they do not need to report to you) for this award. Students can be nominated for any of the categories below:
Torch Award (Diversity & Inclusion Category)

Mores Award (Community Service Category)
Spark Award (Technology & Innovation)
Of the five category winners, a selection committee will select the National Student Employee of the Year.
To be eligible for consideration, nominees must be:
- Degree seeking FSU students currently enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours
- Undergraduate or graduate students employed as Student Assistants, Federal Work-Study, Student Interns, Student Ambassadors, or Graduate/Teaching/Research Assistants
- Employed by FSU for a minimum of three months at the time of nomination
