Finding Funding 101
Beth Hodges, Director of the Office of Research Development
Identifying promising funding opportunities is the first step to winning a research grant. In this interactive workshop, ORD's Carolyn Bradley will introduce participants to the most comprehensive funding database available: Pivot. Participants will learn how they can use Pivot to easily find funding for their research projects from both federal funding agencies and private foundations. With participants employing lab computers, Carolyn will walk them through the process of creating an account and engineering targeted funding searches.
This course will be held in person at the Training Center on Tuesday January 24th from 10 - 11:30 am and is open to all interested faculty and staff members. The Office of Training and Organizational Development (TOD) counts the workshop as an Advanced eSPEAR course and awards eSPEAR CE credit for participants who have completed their eSPEAR certification program.
