Deadline extended for Lavender Graduation

The Office of Representation, Inclusion & Student Equity, in partnership with the Pride Student Union and Pride Alumni Network, hosts FSU’s Lavender Graduation.
In an effort to accommodate more students during a busy time, we will celebrate graduates and give out stoles and during a daylong drop-in event at the RISE Office on Dec. 2. Students must register to participate, and the registration deadline has also been extended to Nov. 17. Confirmation will be sent to participants after the application deadline.
Lavender Graduation is a celebration specifically designed to celebrate the accomplishments and identities of our graduating LGBTQ+ students. Graduate and undergraduate students are welcome to apply to participate. The celebration is held twice annually at the end of the fall and spring semesters. Summer graduates are encouraged to apply for the spring Lavender Graduation ceremony preceding their graduation date.
We are happy to be able to celebrate 50 students this semester. Registration is first come, first served, so interested participants are encourage to apply as soon as possible.
Applications close on Nov. 17 at 11:59 p.m.
