Collaborative Collision: Community+
Building and accelerating new interdisciplinary teams.
Collaborative Collision: Community+ is welcoming anyone and everyone whose research, scholarship, or creative pursuits involve community— however you choose to define it.
Collaborative Collision: Community+ begins with an interdisciplinary networking event designed to break through disciplinary and organizational silos, and help researchers discover who else at FSU they may be interested in working with.
What does Community mean to you?
Working with a community can mean many things. Our artists, musicians, and performers help communities tell their stories and create a sense of place and belonging. Many of our researchers engage communities in participatory research that not only helps understand a problem, but also empowers community members to solve it. Still others study communities themselves, seeking to better understand how the connections and fellowship between individuals leads to the creation of complex, interdependent systems.
Community development, community performance, community engagement, community health, community resilience—these are all community plus something else, and without the something else they don't quite work. So join us at Collaborative Collision: Community+ and find your future Community+ collaborator.
