Adobe applications no longer available on myFSUVLab

Changes to Adobe and myFSUVLab

This message has been approved by Bobby Sprinkle, ITS chief technology officer.

Due to Adobe changing their licensing from machine-based to user-based, FSU can no longer support Adobe Creative Suite applications on the FSU virtual computer lab, myFSUVLab.

Starting July 31, the Adobe Creative Suite will no longer be available in myFSUVLab. Before then, all Adobe Creative Suite files saved on myFSUVLab must be downloaded and saved to a personal device to prevent loss.

If you would like to purchase your own Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, check your eligibility for the student and teacher discount. If you are an employee, you can download the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite free of charge.

In addition, Adobe Acrobat DC and Adobe Acrobat Distiller DC will be removed from myFSUVLab while the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader will be installed. Adobe Acrobat DC is still available to faculty and staff via the ITS Software Store.
