ODL Summer Online Workshops

The Office of Distance Learning is offering online workshops designed to help instructors with course development. You’ll learn how to incorporate elements of quality design in your courses with one or more of our training sessions. Here’s a sampling of our offerings:
- Organize Your Course for Student Success. Organize your course using module-level objectives that are aligned with class materials, activities, and assessments.
- Engage Learners with Online Activities. Become familiar with strategies like content engagement, instructional videos, group work, and best practices for discussions.
- Ally: What It Is and How to Use It. Learn how to make your course materials accessible to all students with the course accessibility tool Ally.
- Teaching Online: Approaches to Pedagogy and Course Design. Develop activities, assignments, and assessments for the online environment.
- Get Started with Kaltura. Use Kaltura recording tools to help you with announcements, lectures, and modules.
