FSU Libraries Acquires Multiple Adam Matthew Primary Source Collections

Adam Matthew Primary Source Collections

This message has been approved by Gale Etschmaier, Dean of FSU Libraries, for distribution to faculty and staff.

FSU Libraries is excited to announce the addition of all Adam Matthew Primary Source Collections published prior to 2016 to our electronic collections. The new holdings provide access to 77 collections of unique, multidisciplinary primary source materials from archives around the world, with over 12 million pages of content. Access to these collections has been made available through a group purchase arrangement negotiated through the Association of Southeast Research Libraries (ASERL), of which FSU Libraries is a member.

The FSU Libraries’ Adam Matthew Primary Source Collections list has recently expanded even more through our spring purchase of three additional requested Adam Matthew files: Nineteenth Century Literary Society, Colonial Caribbean, and Race Relations in America. The latter product was partially funded through donations from the FSU Great Give in March 2021. We thank our many donors for supporting this essential resource.

The new databases, as well as our previously owned content, are now available in a single portal at https://www.lib.fsu.edu/eresource/adam-matthew-primary-source-collections. This link can easily be found by researchers when they search the FSU Libraries Databases A-Z list for “Adam Matthew”.
