This message has been approved by Dr. Joi Phillips, director of the Center for Leadership & Social Change, for distribution to students.

Help guide students from across the Southeast during PeaceJam's annual conference, based at FSU.

PeaceJam is an international education program built around Nobel Peace Prize Laureates who work personally with youth to pass on the spirit, skills, and wisdom they embody. The goal of PeaceJam is to inspire a new generation of leaders who will transform themselves, their local communities, and the world.

Mentors facilitate small groups of students throughout the whole Southeast region, teaching them about the key issue areas of the world. As a mentor, you have the opportunity to take part in pre-conference activities, which include facilitation training, social activities, and in-depth training on PeaceJam and the visiting Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

Applications close Sunday, Feb. 14 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.

For questions about the mentor program, contact Reef Landrum at rlandrum@fsu.edu.
