SGA Passport Initiative

This message has been approved by Dr. Jim Pitts, Director of International Programs, for distribution to students.
Through the Student Government Association (SGA), the FSU International Programs Passport Office has been granted the opportunity to offer 150 students passports at a subsidized rate. The agency fees and cost for pictures, totaling $45.74, will be waived; however, students are still responsible for paying the U.S. Department of State fees, which are as follows: $110.00 for standard processing, 6-8 weeks; or $170.00 for expedited processing, approximately 4 weeks; or $187.13 for expedited processing + express shipping, approximately 2-3 weeks. U.S. Department of State fees can be paid with a check or money order. Credit, debit, and cash will NOT be accepted.
Before signing up please check the FSU International Programs Passport Office’s website to ensure that you meet all the requirements and will be able to obtain all needed documents. If you meet all the requirements, sign up using this link. Remember, there are only 150 spots available, and these are first come, first served. Act quickly if you would like to take advantage of this savings opportunity provided by SGA.
If you are one of the first 150 students to sign up, a member of the FSU Passport team will be in contact with you to set up a specific appointment date and time for you to come and apply for your passport. If you miss the scheduled appointment your spot will be given to the next eligible student.
We look forward to seeing you all here!
