Join FSU College of Social Work's Center for the Study and Promotion of Communities, Families, and Children on Thursday, November 7th at the Bland Conference Center in Panama City, FL from 9:00am-12:00pm for the Caregiver Journey of Hope free workshop event.

Caregiver Journey of Hope is a 3 hour workshop developed by Save the Children, a global organization, in response to the impact of Hurricane Michael on individuals and the community. This Caregiver Workshop aims to build stable, supportive, and cohesive community environments by promoting the emotional well-being.

It is designed to support individuals and coping with events and challenges to increase their ability to support each other, children, and youth to succeed in the classroom and life. In this workshop, participants will identify stress reactions, enhance coping skills, build trust and community cohesion, and identify individual and community strengths.

Faculty and staff relationships will strengthen as a result of this workshop, focusing on the importance of a shared vision, purpose, respect, trust, communication, and collective assets and capabilities. By attending first to their own needs, faculty and staff can be fully present and attentive to the needs of their students.

Refreshments will be provided.
Four raffle prizes will be given throughout the workshop.
