Deadline: Apply to present (with full funding) at the Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC) 2020
This message has been approved by Morgan Hamilton, Assistant Director for the Center for Undergraduate Research and Academic Engagement, for distribution to students.
The Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC) is hosted each year in late February. FURC is one of the largest multi-disciplinary research conferences in the country. Students attending FURC will have the opportunity to showcase their own research and connect with students conducting research at other Florida institutions. The conference will also offer workshops and a graduate school fair.
The cost of travel (charter bus), accommodations, the registration fee, and meals (outside of refreshments provided by the conference) will be covered by the Center for Undergraduate Research and Academic Engagement (CRE) for selected students. Students may opt to provide their own transportation arrangements, but they will not be reimbursed and will be expected to meet up with the FSU contingent at the end of the conference for a group photo.
All presentations will be poster presentations. CRE will provide poster printing. Students must submit their abstracts to the Florida Gulf Coast University FURC website by December 15th, 2019, AND must complete the CRE FluidReview funding application by the deadline of December 15th, 2019.
