This message has been approved by Vice President for Research Stacey S. Patterson, for distribution to faculty and staff.

The Division of Research will host two town halls to discuss changing federal compliance standards that are critical to our research enterprise. These developments span multiple areas of research compliance, and failure to comply may result in funding restrictions, enforcement actions, civil penalties or criminal liability.

Staying informed is essential to protecting both our researchers and the institution. I encourage all those involved in research activities to attend one of the following sessions:

  • Monday, Nov. 9, at 10:30 a.m.
    College of Medicine

  • Thursday, Nov. 12, at 3:30 p.m.
    Interdisciplinary Research and Commercialization Building

Your participation will help ensure that our research community understands these evolving requirements and is prepared to meet them. Please make plans to join us.
