Arts and Sciences Conference Presentation Grant
The College of Arts and Sciences and the Division of Undergraduate Studies supports conference presentation funding through the administration of these grants. Undergraduate students from all College of Arts and Sciences disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Undergraduate students may apply for up to $500 to cover costs for conferences in their discipline (or a related discipline). Both virtual and in-person conferences are eligible for funding.
Rolling deadline, though you must submit this application at least 6 weeks prior to the conference at which you will be presenting (though, you may need to submit this earlier to ensure registration by conference deadline). You will need to upload an itemized list of expenses as part of this application.
If awarded a Conference Presentation Grant, you will be able to submit conference expenses for reimbursements (Flights MAY be covered by the grant, but the process is currently being amended).
Please contact Latika Young (llyoung@fsu.edu) with any questions, and apply here: Arts and Sciences Conference Presentation Grant
SGA Student Department of Academic Affairs Conference Travel Grant
This grant provides funding for undergraduate students to present at academic conferences within their field. You may receive a grant of up to $500 for an academic conference travel grant. The State of Florida prohibits anyone from receiving more than 100% compensation for travel. In addition, the DAART award cannot be used for reimbursing flight costs.
Due to constraints and limited funding, we may not be able to provide full or partial funding. This grant is provided on a first come, first serve basis. We encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. However, submitting a grant application DOES NOT guarantee that you will receive funding. You are encouraged to look into the following funding options in addition to applying for the SGA DAART travel grant, previous known as the SCURC travel grant. Our grant funding is a REIMBURSEMENT, so receipts are REQUIRED.
