Apply to Host an AI Research Intern and Explore Accelerating Your Research with AI

FSU AI Research Solutions is seeking faculty labs and researchers to host undergraduate AI Research Interns during Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
Interns will work approximately 10 hours per week, train in either a Microsoft (Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry) or Google/AWS (Gemini, Gems, AWS Bedrock and Sagemaker) pathway, work with you to learn your research context, and develop a focused AI-assisted prototype, workflow, or reproducible example. Faculty hosts provide research context, a small use case they want to explore, and periodic feedback; the AI Research Intern program provides training and intern supervision. Fall projects conclude with an individual intern poster and a spring continuation or closeout plan.

Projects must use AI and may involve Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, Google Gemini, Google Workspace, AWS, Bedrock, Python, RAG, agents, or other data workflows.
