This message has been approved by Melissa Powell, Interim Program Director - Media, Communications, and Marketing, Anne's College
Researchers in FSU's Department of Health, Nutrition, and Food Sciences are seeking participants for two studies focused on dietary sodium and potassium intake and cardiovascular health.
How Much Do Adults Know About the Salt in Their Diet?
Adults age 18 and over are invited to complete a brief online survey examining knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs about sodium in the diet. Survey participants will be entered into a drawing to receive one of two $100 Visa gift cards via email.
Join a Nutrition Education Study
Healthy adults ages 18-45 may be eligible to participate in a study exploring how lowering sodium intake or increasing potassium intake affects blood vessel health. Participants will attend four weekly one-on-one nutrition education sessions at FSU and complete follow-up assessments over a six-month period. Study procedures include dietary assessments, questionnaires, urine collections and non-invasive vascular health testing. Participants who complete all study procedures may receive up to $550 in compensation. Learn more.
