This elegant celebration is more than just a glamorous night out, it is the College’s annual fundraiser, supporting the next generation of filmmakers. 

A Night at the Oscars brings the magic of Hollywood’s most celebrated awards night to The Moon in Tallahassee. Guests are encouraged to dress in their most glamorous formal attire, embracing the style and sophistication of the Academy Awards. Doors open for early entry at 6:00 PM, with general seating beginning at 6:30 PM, setting the stage for a memorable evening of entertainment and community.

But beyond the red carpet sparkle, this event serves a meaningful mission. As the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts’ signature fundraiser, the evening directly supports student films, production resources, scholarships, and the continued excellence of one of the nation’s top film programs.
