Join us for a workshop to learn vital skills that will help you attain positions of responsibility in higher education with remuneration commensurate with your experience and ability.

Dr. Janet Lenz will facilitate the workshop. Dr. Lenz has been involved in teaching, research, and practice in career development and vocational psychology for more than 40 years. She conducts research through the Florida State University Career Center’s Center for the Study of Technology in Counseling and Career Development. Previously she was a faculty member in the FSU Department of Educational Psychology and Learning Systems (EPLS) and oversaw the Career Center’s Instruction, Research, and Evaluation unit. She also directed the Career Center’s career advising, counseling, & programming efforts. She is a past-president of the National Career Development Association (NCDA), an NCDA Eminent Career Award winner, an NCDA fellow, and a National Certified Counselor and Career Development Facilitator Instructor.

The goal of the ACE Women’s Network within each state and the District of Columbia is to develop programs to identify, develop, encourage, advance, link, and support women in higher education. Each year, over 10,000 women in higher education nationwide engage in networking, professional and leadership development, and mentoring through one of the over forty active networks. 

Logistics:
The event includes an informal reception on Thursday, April 4 at 5:15 p.m. in Room WD 105 (TCC Workforce Development Building) with the workshop beginning at 5:30.
