Askew Student Life Cinema Presents Documentary Film Screening, Lecture Featuring Albie Sachs

On Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 5-7 p.m., the Askew Student Life Cinema will present “Soft Vengeance: Albie Sachs and the New South Africa,” a documentary film presentation chronicling human rights activist Albie Sachs’ fight to end apartheid in South Africa. Refreshments will be available at 4:30 p.m. After, director of the FSU Center for the Advancement of Human Rights and associate professor of criminology Terry Coonan and professor of philosophy Simon May will lead a discussion session with Sachs.
