The Florida State University College of Law, in partnership with Midtown Reader, is proud to present Pulitzer Prize–winning author Gilbert King for a special event featuring his latest work, Bone Valley.
King is the author of the Pulitzer Prize–winning Devil in the Grove, a New York Times bestseller and a landmark investigation into race, civil rights, and the criminal justice system. His newest book, Bone Valley, continues that legacy, telling the true story of Leo Schofield, a man wrongfully convicted of his wife’s murder, and exposing layers of corruption, flawed evidence, and injustice in the criminal justice system.
This is a rare opportunity to hear from one of the nation’s most acclaimed narrative nonfiction writers. Assistant Professor of Law at Florida State University, Erika Nyborg-Burch, who teaches and writes in the areas of criminal law, immigration law, civil procedure, and constitutional law, will be interviewing King at the event.
Ticket: The purchase of a Single Ticket ($38.99) includes 1 copy of Bone Valley and 1 seat at the event.
