This message has been approved by Leslie Richardson, Director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching, for distribution to students, faculty and staff.
Please join the Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT) and FSU Libraries for the second annual Provost’s Showcase of Scholarly Teaching. This year, FSU faculty and graduate TAs will present innovative and powerful teaching practices through 32 poster presentations and 17 roundtable discussions. Some of our campus partners (ACE, OAS, ODL, and the Innovation Hub) will host special tables to showcase their services supporting both faculty and students. This event will highlight the impressive advancements in education happening at FSU, so please come to support and learn from your colleagues! Featured topics include the use of AI and technology in education, curriculum design and pedagogy, student success and engagement, innovative assessment methods, critical thinking and information processing, outdoor and experiential learning, gamification and writing, career development and support, and creative and reflective practices. It will be a wonderful opportunity to learn from and network with each other. No pre-registration is needed. We look forward to seeing you there!
