Approved by Dr. Shelley Ducatt, Director of the Department of Student Support & Transitions and Senior Associate Dean of Students for distribution to students, faculty, and staff

From November 1 through November 26, 2024, the FSU Food for Thought Pantry competes with University of Florida's Alan and Cathy Hitchcock Field and Fork Pantry in an annual food drive competition to help stock pantry shelves and raise awareness about campus food insecurity.

Though all non-expired and unopened non-perishable food items are welcomed and appreciated, some food items are associated with specific points. Donating higher point items pushes the Food for Thought Pantry closer to our goal of defeating UF and supplies us with highly-needed stock!

Donations can be dropped off at the Pantry, Strozier Library, Dirac Library, the Office of Accessibility Services, and the Student Union during the collection window. Monetary donations and Amazon wishlist donations are also accepted.

More information, including detailed instructions for dropping off donations and the full point scheme, can be found here: https://dsst.fsu.edu/foodpantry/chop-chomp

Questions should be directed to Haley Gentile, Program Manager of the Food for Thought Pantry, at foodpantry@fsu.edu or to the main Department of Student Support & Transitions phone line at 850-544-2428.
