Photogrammetry institute digital sign

Devin Soper, University Libraries

A collaboration with the Department of Art History, this lecture will showcase the research of Dr. Brendan Weaver, who will discuss the use of photogrammetry and digital recording procedures of landscapes, architecture, and artifacts in the seventeenth-and eighteenth-century Jesuit vineyard haciendas in Nasca, Peru. Weaver’s research collaborates with descendant stakeholders to preserve and understand past Agroindustrial landscapes, the hacienda-built environment, and the objects that enslaved people of African descent used and made.
