Writing to Win

This message has been approved by Beth Hodges, Director of Research Development, for distribution to faculty and staff.

Hone your proposal writing skills in this interactive workshop on November 17th from 10 - 11:30 AM! Research grant proposals are a genre unto themselves, and it is a valuable skill in the researcher's repertoire to be fluent in both grant writing and scholarly writing. In this workshop, the FSU Research Development team will discuss with you what makes for a well-written grant proposal, and then we will get our hands dirty and WRITE! We will foster a supportive learning environment and offer you a framework for making your grant proposals more compelling.

This workshop is intended for FSU faculty researchers from all disciplines. Postdocs and graduate students are also welcome. To get the most out of this workshop, we request that you bring a draft 'one-pager' of a grant proposal you are working on (e.g., NIH Specific Aims, NSF Project Summary, one-page overview typically shared with program officer or potential collaborators, etc.).
