From UFOs to UAPs: Science, Sensationalism, and Things That Go Blip in the Night

On Tuesday, October 27, Join FSU Libraries and the School of Information for "From UFOs to UAPs: Science, Sensationalism, and Things That Go Blip in the Night." This interdisciplinary panel conversation brings together faculty members from across Florida State University to analyze the UAP phenomenon through multiple academic lenses. Panelists will discuss the validity of recorded sightings, the long and fraught history of the field, and break down how journalistic framing and digital platforms influence public perception.
The event will begin at 12:00 PM and will last until 2:00 PM in the Strozier Library Bradley Reading Room in the basement.
