Strozier Library Closed Beginning December 15

Strozier Closure

This message has been approved by Dr. Sally McRorie, Provost and Executive Vice President, for distribution to all faculty and staff.

Due to facility maintenance, Strozier Library will be closed from Dec. 15 through Jan. 2. Dirac Science Library will remain open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Dec. 17-21. All university libraries will be closed from Dec. 22 through Jan. 1 and will resume normal hours on Jan. 2, 2019.

For those who need access to Strozier materials during the closing:
FSU CATALOG REQUESTS:

A request link will be added in the university library online catalog [http://fsu.catalog.fcla.edu/fs.jsp] for every item that is accessible during the closure. Items requested between December 17 through December 21 will be available for pick up at Dirac Science Library within 24 hours. This will exclude items that are for in-library use only, such as items from Special Collections and hard copy journals.

PREEXISTING HOLD REQUESTS:

Any preexisting holds will be transferred from Strozier Library to Dirac Science Library on Monday, December 17th, and can be picked-up at the main circulation desk.

UBORROW:

UBorrow will be unavailable from December 17 through December 21.

INTERLIBRARY LOAN:

Any ILLiad requests made between December 17 through December 21 will be processed and available for pick up at Dirac Science Library during these dates.

LIBRARY EXPRESS DELIVERY (LEDS):

There will be no physical books delivered from December 15 through December 21. Scanned article requests will be processed and emailed between December 17 through December 21.

All university libraries will be closed from December 22 through January 1, with no in person services available during this time. All library services will resume standard service on January 2.
