Spring Cleaning With Meaning Clothing Drive for the ProfessioNole Clothing Closet
This message has been approved by Myrna Hoover, Director of The Career Center, for distribution to faculty and staff.
The FSU Career Center’s ProfessioNole Clothing Closet is hosting a Spring Cleaning with Meaning Clothing Drive through May 20. With more than 600 students visiting the clothing closet over the past year, The Career Center is in constant need of items for students. Clean out your closet and help a student put their best foot forward in their career. Donations are welcome from the FSU community and beyond.
Clothing should be considered business professional or business casual and in current fashion. Donations should be clean with clearly labeled sizes.
Donate by contacting Heather Lazar (heather.lazar@fsu.edu or 850-644-6493) to schedule a drop-off at The Career Center.
Items of greatest need include:
- Women's suits, blazers, dress slacks, skirts, dresses, blouses
- Men's suits, blazers, dress pants, shirts
- Like-new dress shoes of any size
- Accessories that include ties and belts (men's or women's)
Items deemed not appropriate for the clothing closet will be donated to a charity in Tallahassee.
If you don’t have clothes to donate but still want to support the ProfessioNole Clothing Closet, the clothing closet is accepting donations to its Foundation account (F09092), which is used to purchase items for the closet. You can also directly buy needed items off an Amazon Wishlist.
