Spring Cleaning? Donate to the ProfessioNole Clothing Closet
This message has been approved by Leslie Mille, interim director of the Career Center, for distribution to students, faculty, and staff.
The Career Center's ProfessioNole Clothing Closet is accepting donations for the Spring Cleaning with Meaning Clothing Drive until March 15.
In February alone, the Closet saw 309 students--that means about 1,236 items of professional clothing were provided to students to keep! As the Closet is 100% supported by donations, the support received during this drive helps The Career Center continue providing this much-needed service to FSU students as they embark on their professional journeys at interviews, career fairs, internships, and more!
Items of greatest need include:
- Women's suits, blazers, dress slacks, skirts, dresses, and blouses--biggest need in smaller sizes
- Men's suits, blazers, dress pants, and shirts--biggest need in smaller sizes
- Like-new dress shoes of any size
- Accessories like ties and belts
Clothing should be considered business professional to elevated business casual and in current fashion.
Donations should be clean with clearly labeled sizes and not damaged.
No clothes to donate, but you still want to support the ProfessioNole Clothing Closet? We are accepting donations to our Foundation Account (F09092), which we use to purchase items for the Closet. You can also directly buy needed items from our Amazon Wishlist.
To donate, please contact Heather Lazar at heather.lazar@fsu.edu or 850-644-6493 to schedule a curbside drop-off at The Career Center.
