Seminole Dining Needs Your Help Fighting Food Insecurity On Campus
This message has been approved by Michael Williams, associate vice president of Finance & Administration, for distribution to all students, faculty and staff.
Let’s fight food insecurity together! To help combat food insecurity on campus, Seminole Dining will be restocking the FSU Food for Thought Pantry, and we need your help!
There are a few ways you can help:
-
Donate your guest swipes: Meal plan holders can donate any amount of their guest swipes (up to three), and Seminole Dining will match each swipe donated! Those who donate will also automatically be entered into a drawing to win a Seminole Dining Prize Pack!*
Donate your guest meal swipes here!
- Round Up for FSU: When checking out at any of our dining locations, ask the cashier to "round up" your total to the nearest 25¢. This difference is automatically donated to the Food For Thought Pantry! Visit fla.st/obs-roundup to learn more about the Round Up for FSU initiative.
- Donate directly to the Food for Thought Pantry: The pantry accepts non-perishable food items, gift cards, and monetary donations year-round. You can view the wish list here: dsst.fsu.edu/resources/food-for-thought-pantry/donations.
About the FSU Food for Thought Pantry:

The pantry is located in University Center A, Suite 4148, and is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday, and 1-5 p.m. on Wednesdays. *Seminole Dining will match every swipe donated between Oct. 1-31, 2023. Only individuals who donate guest swipes during this timeframe are eligible for the prize drawing. One submission per meal plan holder will be counted towards the drawing, regardless of the number of swipes donated.
