Meditation for Older Adults with Chronic Low Back Pain

If you are over 50 years old and are experiencing Low Back Pain we invite you to join our study on mindfulness-based meditation intervention for pain and symptoms. The study will require 3 visits to FSU’s Brain Science & Symptom Management Center (BSSMC) at Innovation Park over an 8-week period. During those visits participants will complete some questionnaires, sensory testing, and provide some stool samples. Total compensation up to $150 in e-gift cards.

Low Back Pain and Depressive Symptoms in Older Adults

We are looking to understand the feasibility and acceptability of a mindfulness-based meditation intervention and/or ear neuromodultation at home for pain and co-ocurring depressive symptoms among older adults (50 to 85 years old) with chronic low back pain. This 8-week study will require 3 visits to FSU’s BSSMC Center at Innovation Park. During the visit participants will complete some questionnaires, sensory testing, and provide some stool samples. Total compensation up to $150 in e-gift cards.

If you are willing to participate, please fill out this short survey: https://redcap.fsu.edu/surveys/?s=Y3DFKYAC8FC4MCRJ
