Student PD 10-26 -- Toward a More Perfect Union:
How Do WE Honor the Past + Overcome Its Darkness?
Panel Discussion + Roundtable Dialogues
October 11 ❘ 6 ‐ 8 PM ❘ Turnbull Conference Center
As a country, we are constantly striving to make sense of our past in order to understand the present and pave a better future. Recent events have reminded us that while we have come a long way, we have a long way to go. In this charged, polarized world, moving forward as a collective can seem daunting. But we, as a campus community, are poised to rise to the challenge and lead the way in perfecting our union.
Join the Power of WE and the Student Government Association as they welcome diverse voices to participate in a riveting and unflinching student-curated discourse featuring a panel and roundtable conversations. Come exchange perspectives with individuals spanning the political and social spectrum as we grapple with how best to reconcile our nation’s history to realize its promise.
Seating is limited. Reservations are required. Learn more and RSVP at asharedspace.eventbrite.com by October 8, 2017.
