This message has been approved by Devin Soper, director of the Office of Digital Scholarship, for distribution to faculty and staff.

After celebrating the Year of Open Science with a symposium in 2023, the Open Scholars Project, FSU’s community of practice for open science resumed regular meetings this spring.

Join us at 12 p.m. on March 22nd for a presentation and discussion about pre-registration. Preregistration is the practice of documenting your research plan at the beginning of your study and storing that plan in a read-only public repository.

The Open Scholars Project (OSP) is a community of practice for researchers and practitioners who are curious about open-access publishing, open science, and FAIR data at Florida State University and in the Tallahassee area. The goal of this community is to connect researchers and scholars from all disciplines and provide a supportive space to learn from each other, engage in candid discussions, and apply open principles to research practices.
