Online Course Design Opportunity

This message has been approved by Robert Fuselier, Director of the Office of Distance Learning, for distribution to faculty and staff.
Do you have an online class that needs updating? Are you interested in offering your in-person class online? The Office of Distance Learning can help. Through a partnership with the College of Education’s Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies (ISLT) Program, ODL is offering FSU faculty the opportunity to pair up with a graduate intern for assistance with course refresh or redesign. Our interns are Quality Matters (QM)-certified and the expectation is that courses they work on will pass a QM review. They’re at the end of their studies and preparing to enter the field of instructional design. Many already have work experience in the field.
Interested faculty should apply to the Internship Supervisor, Dr. Kerry Burner (kburner@fsu.edu), by November 15, 2019. Please include your name, department, contact information, the full course name (e.g., EME 5603 Introduction to Systematic Instructional Design), course syllabus, if you are planning to update an existing online class or converting a face-to-face class, and any information important to the class design. Limited opportunities exist for Spring 2020 matches.
