Office of Compliance & Ethics CAMS Disclosure Reminder
Robert Large- Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer
It’s that time of year again! The Office of Compliance and Ethics (OCE) requests that all new and established FSU staff members update their Disclosure Profile via the Conflicts Administration Management System (CAMS) to accurately reflect their current outside activities.
The disclosure of outside activity assists FSU in its mission to mitigate Conflicts of Commitment and Conflicts of Interest whenever possible. Outside activities that warrant disclosure can include employment outside of FSU, uncompensated and compensated board of directors service, material ownership interests in publicly traded businesses, intellectual property that generates income, and more!
Staff members will be receiving automated emails and reminders concerning this disclosure requirement, which will contain a direct link to their profile and helpful prompts to quickly and easily complete the necessary education and update.
Please note that faculty will not receive a notification for this round of updates—faculty disclosure update reminders were distributed in Fall 2025. Only those designated as staff will receive this update reminder. However, all employees are welcome and encouraged to update their disclosure profiles in CAMS any time there is a change in circumstances.
If you have questions regarding this transparency requirement, the OCE is here to help with information, tools, and resources on our CAMS Training & Support Homepage! Specific questions regarding CAMS access or the disclosure itself may be sent to cams@fsu.edu.
Thank you for your continued commitment to integrity and excellence at Florida State University!
